Of course, this wedding was on was the hottest day we've had so far this summer, but somehow we all managed to survive without passing out or drowning in sweat. I have known the bride, Michelle, for a few years, so I was thrilled to be asked to photograph this special day. I had also taken photos of Michelle's precious daughter, Caroline, when she was only about 2 years old, and they are still some of my favorite images. She is such a photogenic child! The wedding day was my first time meeting Steve, but it was obvious to see what a perfect match he is for Michelle, and just how much Caroline completely adores him.

Unfortunately the reception got crashed just as the fun began by a major thunderstorm, but between the face painters and the whoopie pies, I'm sure everyone still enjoyed themselves.
I am still "aww"ing over some of the adorable moments I captured of this day. Enjoy!
